Phoenix is a project composed by two awesome people (knzo,aprold) whose objective is to bring you a new android experience by forging a deep integration and rich interface between Phoenix kernel and application, thus rendering a true ecosystem between kernel-system-app. It kicks off where void left, keeping all its premises of minimalism, powerhouse performance and elegance. However, through the application you'll be able to customize your way on an unprecedented level.

Instructions

[Optional] Check md5sum to make sure you didn't download a corrupted copy.
Flash zip in CWM. Flash tar in ODIN.
Reboot and enjoy.
After the first reboot, reboot again.

If you have Phoenix Tweaks application, you don't need to upgrade your Phoenix kernel

hatte mal im vergleich zum speedmod aber ohne das nichtsbringende uv gedönse ... kein unterschied bzw speedmod ein tick besser in performance und verbrauch

Performance ist bei void besser....deutlich smoother.
Aber halt mit 1'4

Hatte den auch mal drauf, war begeistert, bei mir ist aber siyah 2.3 genauso schnell quasi und etwas besser im verbrauch gefühlt zumindest

Was mich hier ein wenig stört ist das der Kernel von hause aus übertaktet. Sonst läuft er mit dem ersten Eindruck ganz gut.

Also wenn ich ihn installiere ist alles normal....sprich 200-1200.

Der Kernel ist default auf 200-1200Mhz eingestellt. Bei manchen gibt es aber in Voltage Control den Bug das sie ihn trotzdem auf 1,4Ghz takten können.

- Added AOSP support (CM, MIUI, Oxygen) > experimental
- No more GPU clock/vdd support (unstable)
- Frequency range now 200 - 1200 Mhz (some can't handle 100 Mhz)
- Some wifi patches to see if it consumes less power
void .delta:
- Added void settings interface (look for its section below)
- Added OC support up to 1.6 Ghz
- Added CPU/GPU vdd control (UV)
(credits to who coded these interfaces, I have no idea)
- WiFi scan rate changed from MAX to FAST
- Fixed some issues with the scaling and deep sleep
- Default freq range is 100 Mhz - 1000 Mhz
- Changed the way filesync() is disabled (can now be enabled back)
- Some small UV by fenomeno83 is applied by default (can be disabled)
- Added lulzactive governor - one more choice isn't that bad
(even though I still get better results with Lionheart)
void .charlie:
- Attempts to fix SOD issues
- Cleaned some more crap (lower size again)
- Enabled IPv6 Privacy
- Disabled OC, I will try to re-implement it on the next version
- Improved Lionheart's code
- Switched from jRCU to Tree RCU w\ Fast NoHZ (read FAQ)
- Some TCP window tuning *
- Removed 2nd core support from tegrak
(The dynamic hotplugs are now built-in - one CPU goes down on screen off)

Ich kann ihn nach belieben uebertakten.
Der einzige kernel der nicht bei 1.6ghz freezes macht.
Ist aber nur nebensache...1.6ghz sind sehr uebertrieben.
Aber es zeigt wie stabil er ist.

Stimmt er kommt von hause aus mit Stock Takt hab mich da gestern Abend leiten lassen von SET CPU. Der erste Eindruck ist gut mal schauen wie er sich im Alltag macht.

Bin nun auf die kk5 gegangen und er rennt bei mir vorher und jetzt auffallend geschmeidig.

Laufen tut er soweit echt gut und ich hab nichts verstellt aber auch schon einen Neustart.

Neustart habe ich hin und wieder. Aber unabhängig vom verwendeten Kernel. Meistens nach dem ich den Dolphin Browser geschlossen hatte - ich halte diesen daher für den Übeltäter.

aber mit speedmod hatt ich diesbezüglich noch keinen sporadischen reboot

Hab ihn seid 4 Tagen drauf und kein Reboot.
Bei XDA ist das Problem auch keinem bekannt.
Schade...dachte der Kernel ist jut.
Also bei mir rennt er wie Sau.

Wie bereits vorhin geschrieben - Reboots habe ich über alle getesteten Kernel hinweg gehabt.. i.d.R. aber immer nach dem Beenden von Dolphin und nur bei dem und grundsätzlich eher selten als regelmäßig.
Ansonten bin ich mit Void super zufrieden - rennt bei mir weit besser als Siyah oder wie der hiess.

Ich hab die auch ohne Dolphin vorhin erst wieder und da war der Browser nicht mal auf.

Auf xda geht das Gerede los, dass der void vielleicht garnicht mehr weiter entwickelt wird. Hat da jemand genauere oder bessere Infos? Ich würde gern beim void bleiben. Siyah ist mir zu sehr "hin und her".

Keine Infos, aber ich finde das der Kernel gut läuft. Wieso sollten das also nun alle paar Tage neue Versionen rauskommen? Das finde ich mittlerweile an den meisten anderen eher unprofessionell, dieses ewige try&error. Marketingtechnisch macht es Sinn - ich will ja aber nur einen guten Kernel.. Und so wie er ist ist er gut .
