Hey und den ziehe ich mir jetzt mal auf die KG3.
Kollege hast Du ne Idee woher ich den org. KG3 bekomme?
Ich wollte eben nochmal was anderes testen.

Nein nicht, wollte grad ergänzen, dass dieser Kernel auf die letzte Opensource von Samsung beruht, also wahrscheinlich 2.3.3 Basiert ist.
Den Kernel ernsthaft zu nutzen ist noch zu früh (es sei denn man hat eine KF2 Firmware).
Wichtig ist erst einmal zu Wissen, dass Hardcore aus Signapore nun für uns Arbeitet.

Oh jetzt wird es spannend noch ein alter Hase in dem Geschäft.

Onkel Spline hat Recht. Da ich heute in Risiko-Laune bin, habe ich mich dennoch an folgende Kombi gewagt.

Naja, wartet mal mit der Euphorie.
Erstens basiert er, wie gesagt, auf 2.3.3 und zweitens sind ausser einiger Stromspartweaks noch nichts sonderlich dabei.
Es ist ja wie "erst mal ein Hallo" aus Asien

Aber selbst ein Hallo ist ein Lebenszeichen und du weist wie schnell es bei HC gehen kann mit den Updates bzw neuen Versionen.

Aha, Akkusparzeugs

den ganzen Debug Kram zu deaktivieren gabs schon erfolgreich beim SGS1 Speedmod.
CPU Gov Tweaks, ja bittesehr, nur mehr ins Detail wäre gut.
O3 optimierungen toolchain ... keine Ahnung was das ist, aber das baut Hardcore auch schon ewig ein, also muss es ja was bringen, da lange erprobt.

Ich bin zwar noch bei K1T7, aber soviel darf verraten werden.
Der Akkuverbrauch ist einfach phantastisch.



In Zahlen bedeutet das nach ca. 23h sind immer noch 60% Akkukapazität vorhanden.
...und ja, es löppt mit der neusten KG3 Firmware bislang ohne jegliche Vorkommnisse.
Ich werde mich jetzt mal an den K1T8 machen.

wenn man diesen Kernel nutzt hat man ja (noch) kein CWM Recovery.... wie kann man bei dieser Konstellation ein Nandroid Backup restoren?

die "russische" Variante wäre natürlich über den HC Kernel bei Bedarf einen CF-Root Kernel zu flashen und dann das CWM nutzen

Bleib doch bei den Asiatischen Jungs und nimm den Lulz Kernel.

Kein einziger Kernel kann das, bis jetzt.
Leider weiß niemand, ob und was im KG3 Kernel neu ist.

mal abwarten aber wenigstens basiert der Lulz schon auf 2.3.4
