[Kernel][TW][AOSP][KitKat] leanKernel: minimalistic kernel

Der Lean-Kernel ist ein sehr schlank gehaltener Kernel. Er will stabil, akkuschonend und schnell sein. Er kommt ohne große Einstellmöglichkeiten daher (nur über Terminal Emulator).

LeanKernel is not for everyone. My philosophy is to keep the kernel footprint as small as possible by trimming as much fat as possible, and at the same time keeping it stable, power efficient, and fast. You will find that it's lacking some of the bells and whistles of other custom kernels, so if you like features you came to the wrong thread.

The "warranty bit" message at boot is normal.

FEATURES

• overclocked to 2.72Ghz, but max set to 2.2Ghz at boot
• user custom undervolting
• updated to latest 3.4 Linux

• user adjustable panel temperature: -60 to 0, 0 is kernel default (via lkconfig & sysfs)

CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
Open Terminal Emulator, become superuser by typing "su" (without quotes), enter, and type "lkconfig" (without quotes), then enter:

You can also use /data/data/leankernel (lkconfig writes to this dir) manually, or write to sysfs nodes directly.

Ich habe den Kernel jetzt seit gestern Abend drauf. Bisher lauft er sehr flüssig und schnell. Ich würde sagen flüssiger und schneller als der Stock Kernel. Falls es jemand interessiert: Im AnTuTu 5 komme ich damit auf circa 43.000, das wären circa 2.000 mehr als ich mit Stock Kernel hatte.

Über den Akkuverbrauch werde ich hier in ein paar Tagen berichten.

Bin wieder auf Stock Kernel zurück. Der Lean Kernel lief zwar etwas flüssiger und etwas Akku schonender, allerdings hatte ich für meinen Geschmack zu viele 'Hänger' im System. Vielleicht teste ich ihn noch einmal in einer späteren Kernelversion.

Kannst du noch nen anderen Kernel empfehlen? Beim Slimkat scheint ja nix mehr zu kommen..

Allerdings ist er bei XDA rausgeflogen, weil wohl geistiges Eigentum anderer Entwickler benutzt wurde, ohne um Erlaubnis zu fragen und ohne eine Referenz anzugeben. Ist mir von daher irgendwo suspect.

Allerdings scheint er nicht auf AOSP zu laufen. Das meintest Du doch mit der Frage nach SlimKat?

(Für AOSP habe ich sonst auch nicht finden können. Bin mittlerweile auch wieder auf Stock Samsung)

Hab bei dem Kernel hier das Problem, dass es mir dauernd die Standortdienste abschaltet und Google Fit nicht mehr geht. Mit dem Stock Kernel gings...

Ich habe im Moment den AEL Kernel 7.9 drauf. Für mich bisher ein super Kernel. Ist von Macher der Echoe Roms.
