ENDLICH!!! DVD-to-Smartphone Software

habe schon lange auf dieses proggi gewartet (direkt und einfach, so muss es sein, alles andere ist doch umständliches gebastel und mühsames herumgeteste über mehrere zwischenstationen wie z.b. erst auslesen, heruntersizen, komprimieren, konvertieren usw).

This software lets you convert a DVD to a Smartphone and watch it in great quality, with stereo sound and in full screen landscape mode. A memorycard as small as 128 Mb is sufficient to store a full length feature film.

You can watch your DVDs on the go, on any Windows Mobile-based Smartphone, such as the Orange SPV-series, Motorola, Mitac, etc. from a postage stamp size memory card. The software installs an encoding package on a PC with Windows XP, and a free player on the mobile phone. Schon die PocketPC-Variante...

Eigentlich macht es nicht viel mehr als das Automatisieren, was ich bis jetzt manuell gemacht habe, zum encodieren benützt er den gratis erhältlichen Windows Media Encoder...!

Ist schon nett aber doch ziemlich teuer...

...nunja, ich mag solche angepassten produktlösungen - ob sie dann auf bewährtes bzw. sonst irgendwie erhältliches aufsetzen ist mir egal.

der punkt beim SPV ist ja der, dass es nur sinn macht, wenn der player den film automaisch um 90 grad dreht, so dass man es im richtigen format anschauen kann (das können die wenigsten player).
ok, ich habe bisher auch am pc alles manuell gemacht und beim re-encoden den film hochkannt gestellt, dann funktionierts auch. ich habe aber auf dauer keine lust, da immer über zig zwischenstationen mit zig verschiedenen programmen zu gehen!

wie ist das mit dem tool hier:
1. kann es alle DVDs auslesen? oder problem?
2. bei der konvertierung kann man was einstellen? wie schnell ist das tool?
3. der player dazu dreht den film? (bei PDAs nicht, oder? nicht nötig?)
