Dauernd startet ActiveSync von allein

Seit einiger Zeit habe ich das Problem, dass ActiveSync auf dem TouchPro sich ständig selbst startet. Also zumindest ist es immer wieder mal aktiv, ich seh's dann zufällig im Taskmanager.

Wie kommt das und was kann ich dagegen tun?

Ich glaube, die Sache mit dem gefakten Exchange funktioniert in neueren Build von Windows Mobile nicht mehr. So wie ich das sehe, ist ActiveSync auf den neuesten ROMs nicht mehr abschiessbar

I have an idea for you, found in some other posts, e.g. on the xda developers site, while looking for a solution for a friend with the same problem (ActiveSync starting automatically in the night..):

Disable notification repllog.exe - AppRunAfterTimeChange

You can do that using DotFred's Task Manager from:
http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm

In the notifications list disable entry for repllog that says AppRunAfterTimeChange,
scroll to the right in the corresp. lines.

You can see if this is applicable for you, when checking the ActiveSync logfiles in the
Windows\ActiveSync directory on your mobile, look for AppRunAfterTimeChange.

Anyhow that Task Manager is a very useful tool for you, brings all the features that you know from Windows XP/Vista.

If this is not your problem, look for a tweak in the xda-dev forum that uses a fake exchange server to set the server synchronization to 'manual' instead of periodically:
install a dummy exchange server, setting to manual and then delete that server again,
don't have the link right now.

some add-on, maybe you need to kill the repllog / remote h process in the task manager before disabling the Repllog Notification (Apprunaftertimechange), cannot say for sure since I didn't have to do that, my HTC did not have that problem.

And: if all that does not help, hack the registry (after backup):
HKEY>CURRENTUSER>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>ACTIVESYNC
locate value "Keep Alive" change this to "0" for disabled.
