Goldcard - Diskussion

Hallo,

es ist möglich jedes erdenkliche ROM auf ein HD2 zu spielen
Mein Englisches Gerät hat nun das ofizelle Deutsche ROM drauf.

Wie das funktioniert?

Dank der Hilfe von cmonex von den dev's mittels der Goldcard

Also zumindest jedes offizielle ROM, meinst DU !? Custom-ROMs gibt es ja erst nach dem HSPL oder ...

Entschuldige aber ich weiß leider nicht was die Goldcard ist (klingt nur nach: kostet viel Geld). Kannst Du vielleicht eine kurze Erklärung abgeben oder einfach einen Link posten?

Ich schicke euch mal das was mir cmonex gesendet hat.

I hope the following instructions will be clear enough, if not, just ask
you need: working activesync (or windows mobile device center if on vista/win7), i.e. the device must be in synced state, and a microsd card must be inserted in the phone. or the below steps won't work.
a backup of the microsd is recommended, if you want to be sure, though this isn't really needed.
1. download and extract
2. phone must be synced and SD must be inserted in it. copy and run program on the PC.
3. it will create myid.txt (or show error, if so, let me know), give me the contents of this file. I will send you an image based on that.
PS: if it doesn't appear to do anything, install on your phone:

cmonex

1. download and extract:
2. phone must be synced and SD must be inserted in it. make sure it's the same SD card. then run the program on the PC.
3. if you want to do SD flashing (instead of flashing via USB cable) then at this point make sure your sd card is formatted FAT32.
4. it will run and should report success, if it doesn't, let me know about the error text. (allow it in symantec if you have that AV, it doesn't like the packer I used. and if it says it could not find server, then try with firewall off.)
5. if it said success then now you can flash the choice of your ruu.
PS1: you don't need to repeat this process to flash another rom, if you ever have any problems, just contact me.
PS2: if it doesn't appear to do anything, make sure you installed on your phone:

Es ist wohl auch nur für die Leute interessant die sich ein Englisches Gerät gekauft haben und nun das Originale Deutsche ROM haben möchten.

Falls jemand cmonex bitte dies auch für Ihn zu erstellen und mit dem englishc nicht so gut klar kommt den kann ich jetzt helfen.

So wie ich es verstanden habe wird die SD-Karte zur "Goldkard" gemacht.

Das ist irgendwie ein hintertürchen was sich HTC offengehaltet hat

Was ich jetzt leider nicht weiß ist wie oft man ein ROM jetzt flashen kann.

Könnte mir das jemand verraten der ahnung hat?

Ich weiß nur das man unbedingt die SD-Karte dazu brauch mit der man die Code ausgelesen hat.

nur möchte ich nun wissen was genau man runterladen muss bin zwar zufrieden mit dem Englischen aber vielleicht geht beim deutschen ja das mit dem display und sms^^

Am besten sprich mal cmonex direkt an.

Es bringt dir nicht was für ein programm er mir gegeben hat denn damit habe ich nur meine ID ausgelesen, diese ID hat er umgewandelt und mir wieder ein neues programm geben, diese habe ich installiert, deutsches ROM von htcpedia runtergeladen und geflasht

Was er gemacht hat weiß ich nicht, ich bin nur froh das es ihn gibt

cmonex selbst hat in einem Support-thread mal etwas von 3 Versuchen geschrieben, andere sprechen von mehr... ist aber länger her, dass ich da mal etwas im Thema war...

Ja ich habe mich nochmal bedankt und ihn gefragt, ist aber bestimmt nicht mehr wach und wird morgen antworten.

Du kennst dich ziemlich gut aus

Was passiert wenn ich ein Hardreset machen, ist jetzt das Deutsche ROM im speicher?

Jetzt, wo das ROM geflasht ist, wird bei einem Hard Reset natürlich wieder das deutsche ROM in seine "Werkseinstellung" zurückgesetzt.

Auskennen tu ich mich nicht wirklich im Detail, aber geflasht hab ich dann doch schon etliche ROMs... da lernt man einige Dinge kennen.

Und jetzt sind´s wieder ein paar mehr! Das finde ich toll, dafür sind Foren wie dieses hier da!

1. das stimmt, hardreset gemacht und deutsch ist noch da

2. ich lerne hier auch viel dazu

Habe eine Antwort erhalten von cmonex, mit der neu generierte ID von cmonex kann ich diesen vorgang so oft wiederholen wie ich möchte.

Ich hatte SIe aber nochmal gefragt ob dies nur Originale ROM's gehen oder auch selbstgekochte.

Kann hier vielleicht nochmal jemand genau schreiben wie das funktioniert mit der Goldcard? Habe nen Image erhalten und was soll jetzt damit passieren?

Oder für die etlichen, die ein T-Mob gebrandetes Handy anstatt ein brandingfreies bekommen haben, und denen das fehlende Etui egal ist =)
