Neues Update behebt Multitouch-Probleme?

Laut der Facebook-Seite von HTC Support behebt das neue Update Probleme mit Multitouch, dem Music-Player und der allgemeinen Perfomance vom Desire.
Auf die Frage, was der Grund für die Verspätungen bei der Auslieferung ist, antwortete der HTC Support:

The problem was down to a software problem the unlocked devices were delayed as they had to be updated. the on time release of network phones was because it is simpler to complete an over the air update as the sim cards are issued with the desire and therefore can be targeted but unlocked phones may be used with any type of sim card. the update solves problems with multi-touch, the music player and general performance of the desire

Klingt logisch und macht Sinn ...

Ein paar weitere Details was genau gefixxt wurde wäre schön, jedoch haben wir es nun auch von offizieller Seite bestätigt bekommen.

Klingt imho nicht logisch, da ja bereits das N1 das Problem hat. Zuerst wird es imho auf dem N1 laufen, bevor irgendwas auf dem Desire passiert...

Wär toll wenn das hier weiterverfolgt wird, ob es wirklich verbesserungen bezüglich dem multitouch problem gibt. Vl gibts ja in englischen foren bereits infos dazu.

Das ist 'ne Hardware-Kiste. Die Verbesserungen um die es da geht werden was anderes zum Inhalt haben. Das Desire wird nicht Multitouchfähig...

Na da lässt ja zumindest wieder Raum zum hoffen...
Klar wird das Panel nicht MultiTouch fähig, aber vielleicht zumindest duo-touch...

Meinst du damit Dual-Touch? Das hat es nämlich sowieso an Board. Mit oder ohne Update. Sprich: 2 Finger werden erkannt.

Ich denk mal eher er meint dieses "crossing axis" Problem..
Wenn das gelöst wird und dann noch Root-Zugang dann ist das Ding sowieso gekauft (; Aber vermutlich wird es auch ohne das gekauft

also, some people have problems with "very" low sound volume using the headphone (and the loudspeakers) any advice on that?
another one, you mentioned the new update will fix problems with multi-touch, ... does this fix include the "axis crossing" problem found in Nexus one?

The HTC Desire incorporates the most advance sound system HTC has used to date in testing the loudness was limited to prevent damage to the system and the user but not to an extent that sound levels are barley audible once again it more than likely a isolated problem the updates fix any problems that HTC believe effects the multi-touch

Ziemlich nervig dass HTC keine Satzzeichen kennt oder? :S

Weiß eigentlich jemand was aus dem "hack" eines xda-devs geworden ist, welcher das problem gefixt hat?
